When a student walks in for admission for our Bakery and Pastry Training Course, they are all smiles and full of energy. Eager to learn the art of baking and pastry making.  When the admission formalities are completed, the fees of NRS 20,000 paid up, they meet our Head Chef Amar Deula, who briefs them on his incredible journey of 30 years and his global exposure and experience. Then our Chef Manoj Singh Bhandari adds on his experiences in Nepal and India while our Pastry and Cake Chef, Ishwor Limbu, explains his entrepreneurship and professional journey in Nepal.

Three best Chefs are engaged in training our students during their Bakery and Pastry Training Course. This post is about one of our recent graduates, Ms. Crystal Dhakal, a students of Hotel Management, who also wanted to learn the art of baking.

Bakery Training 

The Bakery Training of Ms. Dhakal covered bread, white bread, multigrain bread, loaf, french bread, bun, and show piece bread. Most of the lessons were conducted by Head Chef Amar Deula while Chef Manoj was also fully engaged with her. Further, her journey also covered preparing commercial products, namely sandwich bread, hot dog bread and burger bun for commercial usage at the outlets of Cosmos Retreats.

The Pastry Training Journey of Ms. Dhakal covered cheese cake, tiramisu, macarons, rice pudding, gajar ka halwa, cream cakes, fondants and many more. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons under Chef Ishwor and Chef Amar.
