Bakery Training Journey of a Student

Bakery Training Kathmandu

When a student walks in to our Bakery Training Center in Kathmandu, operated by Cosmos Retreats Private Limited, he gets greeted by our reception team and fills up an enquiry form as we collect name, interest, mode of payment, address and contact details of the visitor. These details are used by our Frond Desk Team to update students on any changes on time or schedules. 

Introduction:

After the initial briefing by our Front Desk, we walk the student in our Training Room and introduce him/her with our Head Chef Amar Deula, Chef Manoj Singh Bhandari and Chef Ishwor Limbu. They give a very quick introduction and explain how the classes are conducted.

Trial:

The next step is a trial class of bakery training in Kathmandu. This day, usually Sunday, is when people walk in to the baking industry and experience it first hand by baking in real time. Many people get inspired after this day and join in our lessons.

Payment:

After trail classes, students pay their tuition fees. The current fees, as of June 2024, the cost of our bakery training in Kathmandu is MRS 20,000 and the cost of our Cake Course in Kathmandu is NRS 25,000. This fees includes the chef coat, apron, hair net, chef cap and all necessary ingredients. If students pay in one instalment, we are offering a discount of NRS 1,000. 

Start of Bakery Training:

Once the payment is done, students join classes with 3 Chefs and start learning the art of baking. This lasts for 35 working days and is exciting as well as practical. 

Graduation:

Once the course is completed and the student learns all 50 items of the bakery training course, we award them with a certificate of achievement. This is done by Head Chef Amar Deula and is generally in presence of other students and Chefs.

Even after graduation, we do assist our students, be it in setting up their own bakery shop, online cake shop, employment abroad or even to just recap things. Our chefs are available on WhatsApp for communication and students seek their help in different stages of their career.
